Goldin Center: Take the #12 bus from 12th and Wisconsin going north. Disembark at Teutonia and Chambers. Turn left (West) on Chambers St. and walk 1 block to Hopkins Street. Turn right onto Hopkins and walk two blocks to Burleigh. Turn left onto Burleigh and walk approx. 3 blocks to 2320 W. Burleigh.

Description of Agency/Activities:
COA Youth & Family Centers helps Milwaukee children, teens, and families reach their greatest potential through a continuum of recreational, social work, and educational programs offered through its Riverwest Community Center. COA works with children, teens and parents from many racial and ethnic backgrounds directing their energy and ideas into constructive programs of recreation and community betterment. Operating out of the Riverwest Community Center, the Family Center engages families with children ages birth - 6; the licensed Child Care Center focuses on children 6 weeks - 12 years old; and the Pre-Teen and Teen Programs are held for young people between the ages 7 - 18.
Student Role in Agency:
- Child Care Aide involves working for the Family Center to provide child care during parent education programs.
- Homework Help Aide involves working in the Learning Center, Creative Playground and helping Youth with various tasks.
Commitment: 2-4 hours per week for the duration of the semester.
