Hours of Service: Teen Program: Monday-Thursday 3:30-5:30 pm
Kids Club: Monday-Thursday 3:30-5:30 pm, 4:00-6:00pm
Description of Agency: The mission of this thriving community center is to aid neighborhood individuals and families to improve the quality of life for themselves, their relatives, their neighborhood and their community. Services are designed to promote self-sufficiency and build solutions to problems which create barriers to education, and economic and personal growth. A variety of educational, cultural and recreational services are offered at the agency. Service Learners may work with children, teens, seniors and entire families. Neighborhood House has a helpful staff and a diverse population of children and youth who are attentive, challenging and enthusiastic about almost any activity.
Student Role in Agency: Varies according to program. Male Service Learners are especially needed.
Commitment: Orientation plus 2 hours weekly. Background check and a TB Test are required. Get paperwork processed ASAP. You don't want to delay the start of your service.
