The Marquette University Service Learning Program, Manresa, and Community Service Program with support from Campus Ministry and MUSG are pleased to announce a student-led regional conference aimed at helping students develop skills, passion, and knowledge to inspire meaningful service projects at their campuses.

When: November 7-9, 2008

Where: Marquette University Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Who: Students from Midwestern universities, colleges, and technical colleges who are leaders in service learning and community service programs on their campuses.

Keynote speaker: Neil Willenson, Founder and CEO of Camp Heartland, a camp for children affected by or living with HIV/AIDS.

Topics will include:

• Creating change around social injustice
• Learning successful leadership strategies
• Recruiting and retaining a peer volunteer force
• Developing partnerships in the community
• Leading reflection sessions
