  • Standardized Test Scores
    ALL Trinity applicants are required to submit the GRE or other comparable standardized test scores. Have testing institution send official score report to Marquette University (ETS code for Marquette University is 1448).

    Important:

    Your application will not be complete until the official GRE or comparable standardized test score is received; incomplete applications will not be reviewed. In order to ensure that your score information is received by the application deadline, we recommend that you enclose a copy of your personal score report with your application. In this way, your application will be reviewed, pending the receipt of your official GRE report.


Essay Instructions

We suggest that you first construct your responses to questions 6-10 in a word processing document, and then copy and paste your completed text into the space provided after each question.

Prior Peace Corps, Jesuit Volunteer Corps, Lutheran Volunteer Corps, AmeriCorps or other comparable full–time service is required. In the space below, summarize your full–time service experience. 9. Essay Question 2: Trinity Fellows Program Essay
Describe the motivation behind your application to the Trinity Fellows Program, and your goals or ambitions after completing the fellowship. (2-4 pages, maximum of 1000 words)




 
10. Question 3: Nonprofit Assignment
If accepted, you'll be assigned to work at an area nonprofit agency for the 21-month fellowship period. With this in mind, a) briefly describe or list the skills you hope to develop/further develop through your work placement; b) indicate whether there is any type of work you'd rather not do. (1/2 page, 200-word maximum)




 
11. Letters of Recommendation
  • Submit two letters of recommendation related to your service experience.
  • Submit two letters of recommendation related to your academic experience.

Up to 3 letters may be submitted online via MU Graduate School application; letters may also be mailed to the Trinity Fellows Program office.  Mailed letters should be sealed with the author's signature across the envelope flap, and included with your "self-completed" application (see instructions). If this is not possible, have mailed letters sent directly to the Trinity Fellows Program. For preferred Letter of Recommendation form, see www.grad.mu.edu/future/letters.shtml.
 
12. Permission to Share Information
