Joseph Ribbich, Eng ’07, and Shannon (O'Brien) Ribbich, Nurs ’08, welcomed their first child, Benjamin Marvin, on May 1, 2011.
Benjamin weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces and was 20 inches long.
Ralph Tease, Jr., Law ’81, has been selected to the Wisconsin Super Lawyers and 100 Top Lawyers by the American Trial Lawyers Association. He has also been selected as one of the top 25 plaintiff lawyers by the American Board of Trial Advocates.
LTJG Kristin Stoniecki, Nurs ’07, was recognized as one of the top labor and delivery nurses in the Navy. She was also quoted in an article about the Nurse Corps' work to help the Japanese recover from recent natural disasters during Operation Tomodachi.

Professor helps develop new military technology
Charles Wilkie, professor emeritus of chemistry, led a team that developed a high-strength coating that can protect buildings against explosions. The technology is in the final stages of testing and is expected to be ready for military use in the upcoming year. Learn more.

Three Marquette alumni are candidates in the upcoming mayoral election in Phoenix, Ariz. – Anna Brennan, Nurs ’81; Greg Stanton, Arts ’92; and Jennifer Wright, Bus Ad ’96. The primary will be held Aug. 30.
