Campus community fills Gesu at Mass of the Holy Spirit
The campus community prayed and rejoiced Sunday night at Mass of the Holy Spirit,
the traditional Jesuit education Mass.
TALK WITH YOUR STUDENT
As students settle into the semester, now is a great time to check in about how they're
finding community and making connections on campus. Encourage your student to attend
O-Fest, one of Marquette's signature traditions, where they can explore hundreds of student
organizations, reconnect with familiar interests or discover something completely
new. Getting involved is one of the best ways to build friendships and feel at home
on campus.
You can also start a conversation about how your student is adjusting to college life.
If they're experiencing homesickness or struggling with the transition, remind them
that support is available through resources such as the Counseling Center and Eagle's Landing, which offers opportunities to meet other students and get involved. While you're
catching up, be sure to ask whether they've made plans for Family Weekend, Sept. 25–27.
Families can purchase tickets, view the schedule and learn more by visiting the Family Weekend website.
