Zilber Hall — New Student Services Building

Project Overview

A new student services building, Zilber Hall, will be built on the north side of Wisconsin Avenue between 12th Street and 13th Street on the site of the former 1212 Building and Parent's Park. The 130,000 square foot, four story building, will bring together the Offices of the Bursar, Registrar, and Student Financial Aid in a common service center. In addition, the Offices of Admissions, University Advancement, and other administrative units will be located in Zilber Hall. The building will be constructed of masonry and precast concrete panels to frame windows which are designed to maximize the amount of natural light in the interior workspaces. The long building mass is scaled both horizontally and vertically to fit into the campus context.

Zilber Hall is being designed by Kubala Washatko Architects and constructed by Opus North Corporation and is scheduled to be completed in the late fall of 2009.
