Dr. Michael Politano
Department of Physics
Dr. Politano joined the Marquette faculty seven years ago and loves being here. He does research in theoretical astrophysics and has lately been interested in how many binary (double) stars in our Galaxy merge and become single stars. His mission as a teacher is strongly aligned with the mission of the University and the principle of cura personalis. He loves music and was a DJ for WMUR, the Marquette Radio station, for 2 years. Three of his biggest influences growing up were The Three Stooges, Elvis Presley and God (not necessarily in that order).
