Engineering Hall’s five floors are each dedicated to solving complex problems and answering questions that we are faced with today and will face in the future. Educating a new generation of engineers to meet these challenges is the main focus of this leading edge facility.
Engineering Hall has received LEED Gold Certification through the U.S. Green Building Council. The building was designed with efficiency in mind including a green roof with rain water collection to a below-ground holding tank, custom LED lighting with automated controls, and a state of the art heat recovery system.
The building is an interactive laboratory; you can see engineering all around you. Students can study the exposed structural components in the building and even share building efficiency and controls data with remote teams.
