The Faculty Mentoring Program (FMP) is designed to facilitate the professional development of tenure-track assistant professors. It extends Marquette's principle of cura personalis or “care for the whole person” to these faculty. The FMP's core project matches individual assistant professors with a more senior faculty member for a confidential, interpersonally-supportive relationship that is separate from performance evaluation.
