RESIDENT LIFE STAFF
In addition to the extensive information found elsewhere on the Center for Health Education and Promotion website, we have compiled the following health education resources specifically designed for you. Please contact us if you have any questions about the resources.
EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS
If your event or meeting addresses a health issue in any way, consider providing brochures and handouts related to your topic. The Center for Health Education and Promotion can provide quantities of these materials from our Resource Library to assist participants in taking a health issue to a more personal level. Call (288-5217) or stop by our office in the 707 Building to see what materials we currently have available. *Note: To ensure that we have enough time to pull materials, please make requests at least 48 hours before the materials are needed.
OUTREACH PROGRAMS
Looking for a presenter for a program on a health issue? Let us help with the programming requirements of your hall. The Center for Health Education and Promotion staff (Peer Health Educators and Professional Health Education staff) offer a variety of educational and interactive outreach programs that can be scheduled at your convenience. Click here for a list of topic areas and programs. We will work together to determine and design what would best meet your needs and the needs of your floor/wing. Our programs are interactive, fun, and are designed to empower and motivate participants to think about issues relating to health and wellness. *Note: To ensure that we have enough time to secure presenters, please make requests at least 7 days before the desired program date.
BULLETIN BOARD IN A BAG

The Center for Health Education and Promotion offers a collection of materials to help you put together a quick and informative bulletin board for your floor/wing. Each one consists of several posters and an assortment of brochures pertaining to a particular health and wellness topic. You could also use these in conjunction with a health-related program that you are planning. “Bulletin Board in a Bag” pieces are meant as a starting point…you don’t have to limit yourself to the resources provided. To pick-up a "Bulletin Board in a Bag," stop by the Center for Health Education and Promotion during our normal business hours (8:30am - 4:30pm).
