The Marquette Ethics and Political Philosophy Workshop was conceived in order to provide a friendly and supportive forum for faculty and students to present, discuss and develop their work in progress.

The group meets periodically throughout the year. The aim of the group is essentially to help improve each others’ papers and ideas and to provide a framework for the discussion of important issues in both moral and political philosophy, broadly construed.

The Fall 2009 schedule:

September 21: Dr. Kevin Gibson, "The Precious and the Public" (3:15 pm)
October 19: Mr. Fuad Ahmad Rahmat "Globalizing Feminist Ethics: A Critique

                  (3:30 pm, Coughlin Hall 139)
