Dr. Candice Klug to give Colloquium on October 27th

Dr. Klug, of MCW, will present "SDSL EPR Spectroscopy Explained: Application of EPR to the Study of Protein Structure and Functional Dynamics" in room 228 of the WW Physics building.

Come learn what site-directed spin labeling (SDSL) electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy can show us! The basics of this biophysical technique will be explained, and examples of how it is applied to the study of protein structure (what the protein looks like) and functional dynamics (how the protein moves) will be showcased.

See you Thursday!

New Equipment in the Physics Department for Biophysics Research!
