The Department of Political Science has completed its recruitment for the faculty line in International Security and is pleased to announce that Dr. Risa Brooks (Ph.D., UC-San Diego) will join the department during the 2010-11 academic year. Dr. Brooks is currently an assistant professor at Northwestern University. She specializes in and has published extensively on the issue of civil-military relations.
