Ryan Hanley was on junior sabbatical during the fall doing research on projects on the Enlightenment and the political and economic thought of Adam Smith. Professor Hanley was chosen as a recipient of a two-year fellowship (2008-2010) to participate in a program on Defining Wisdom at the University of Chicago.
