Leadership Committee

Supporting student leadership development is a collaborative process, and the DSA Student Leadership Committee facilitates opportunities for Student Affairs staff, as well as administrators and faculty across the university The DSA Student Leadership Committee consists of student affairs professionals from across the division, committed to developing leadership programs consistent with Catholic social teaching and Jesuit ideals. Over the past three years, the Student Leadership Committee has created and unveiled a new Model of Student Leadership Development specific to Marquette University. The campus-specific model serves as the foundation for leadership training and education across the entire Division of Student Affairs. Guided by the mission of Marquette as a Catholic, Jesuit university, our goal is the formation of men and women who will dedicate their lives to the service of others, actively entering into the struggle for a more just society. We do this by helping students become “contemplatives in action” who engage in the Ignatian practice of reflection and discernment.
