Franciscans (St. John the Baptist Province) (Archives: Cincinnati, Ohio; archives bulk: St. Michaels, Arizona, and Tucson, Arizona) established and administered St. Francis of Assisi Church (e.g. Navajo) 


Franciscan Sisters of Our Lady of Perpetual Help (Archives: Kirkwood, Missouri) staffed St. Francis of Assisi School (e.g. Navajo)
