Undergraduate Major: Commercial Real Estate

The cornerstone of the Commercial Real Estate major, established in 2003, is an applied undergraduate experience that includes classroom, on-site and in-the-office experiences that lead to internships, job placement and lifelong learning.

Student Experience

The Real Estate Club provides students a great opportunity to participate in a variety of activities in the classroom with guest lecturers as well as on-site at commercial real estate developments.

Real Estate Club participants stay informed and connected to current industry trends and have the opportunity to become student members in organizations such as the Urban Land Institute, International Council of Shopping Centers and the Institute of Real Estate Management.

Industry Organizations

Marquette University has strong relationships with a number of real estate industry organizations. Students have the opportunity to join these organizations at a discounted rate. The benefits of membership include enhanced classroom, internship, and job search/placement experiences.

Urban Land Institute

ULI’s mission is to provide leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities worldwide.

Student Membership: ULI assists startup programs, commissions texts, and provides a forum for instructors worldwide. This membership category is open to all full-time graduate and undergraduate students. Students must provide proof of full-time status with the membership application. Student members receive all of the benefits of ULI Membership, but do not receive access to the online membership directory.
