Dan DeWeerdt, senior director of engagement communications in University Advancement, and Tom Ford, associate athletics director, have been elected at-large representatives of the Committee on Administrators. Carol Trecek, director of continuing education and alumni relations in the School of Dentistry, has been elected the area representative for the Office of the Provost.
Their three-year terms began Jan. 1.

The Committee on Administrators (COA) is an advocate for Marquette administrators in their welfare, professional development, communication, collegiality and other related topics. COA presents the concerns and recommendations of administrators regarding these issues to senior administration through the vice president and general counsel.
Our mission
The mission of the Committee on Administrators is to strengthen and develop Marquette's mission among administrators by promoting excellence, faith, leadership and service through university workplaces and sponsored events.
Our meetings
COA holds monthly meetings open to all administrators. Meetings are held the second Wednesday of the month. Contact COA for information.
