

The Marquette University Center for Supply Chain Management is dedicated to enabling the best in education, applied research, business solutions and symposia – for students, businesses and faculty – by integrating the College into the broader business community. The Center provides a forum where industry leaders, academics and students can exchange ideas, advance knowledge and add value in the expanding area of supply chain management. The Center for Supply Chain Management is housed within Marquette University's College of Business Administration, one of the oldest accredited business programs in the United States. The College offers comprehensive undergraduate and graduate business programs in a variety of disciplines and specializations, and will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2009. Based in Milwaukee, WI, Marquette's College of Business Administration is focused on educating young women and men to be effective leaders with a strong ethical foundation.
CSCM hires Douglas A. Fisher as Director for Center
Doug brings over twenty-five years of practical business experience in the freight transportation industry.
He has held positions including Assistant General Manager, Director Planning & Budgeting, Vice President Marketing,
Vice President Corporate Development, Vice President International, and President/CEO. Doug has worked in the air cargo, LTL,
TL and non-asset based forwarding industries. He is currently a Partner in the firm of Cascade Consulting Partners, Inc., a firm
specializing smart pricing and the application of revenue/yield management practices, processes and analytics to the freight transportation industry.
Doug received his undergraduate degree in Mathematics from the University of Kansas, and an MBA and DBA in Transportation/Management/Quantitative Analysis
from Indiana University. Doug is currently a member of the Clayton College & State University School of Business Advisory Board,
the Peachtree City Airport Authority, Congressman Westmoreland’s (GA) Transportation Advisory Council, the Council of Supply Chain Management
Professionals, the Indiana University International Business Forum, and is an Advisor to the Logistics Value Stream Fund.
He is Past President of the AirForwarders’ Association, and was recently a faculty member at Auburn University in the Aviation and
Supply Chain Management Department.
Doug will be Adjunct Assistant Professor and Director of the Center for Supply Chain Management at Marquette University.
