University Juniors, Seniors, and Master's level graduate students in civil, construction or architectural engineering, or construction management programs are encouraged to apply for AISC Scholarships for the 2012-2013 academic year. AISC and members of the structural steel construction community continue to offer more than 20 scholarships to university students totaling $88,000 for this year's program.

The Associated of General Contractors of America Education and Research Foundation
The AGC Education and Research Foundation scholarship application is now available online at http://scholarship.agc.org/. Students majoring in two, four or five-year civil engineering or construction management programs are eligible for $2,500 scholarships for the 2012-13 academic year, renewable for up to three years. Students must be entering their sophomore, junior or senior year (or the final year of a five-year program) in the fall of 2012 in order to apply.
Illinois Association of Highway Engineers
With an interest in promoting the engineering profession and assisting students to further their career, the Schaumburg Chapter of the Illinois Association of Highway Engineers is offering the Grant Shaw Memorial Scholarship consisting of a one thousand dollar ($1,000.00) cash scholarship to a qualified candidate. Applicants for this award must be enrolled as a full time undergraduate or graduate college student at an accredited college or university majoring in a transportation related field. To be eligible for this award, a candidate must qualify for at least junior class status as of September of this calendar year. The selected candidate shall be notified in writing and invited to attend the IAHE Schaumburg Chapter meeting on June 18, 2013. Application Materials.

Arthur J. Schmitt was an industrial executive who expressed his commitment to education, and the development of responsible leadership through Christian principles and ideals. He founded the Arthur J. Schmitt Foundation in 1941, dedicating its resources toward fashioning a better and more humane world. The Arthur J. Schmitt Fellowships are available to students in doctoral programs. Eight to ten fellowships are awarded. Each fellowship carries a ten-month stipend up to $17,500. The fellowship includes a scholarship that pays for continuous enrollment fees.

Rev. John P. Raynor, S.J. Fellowship
The Rev. John P. Raynor, S.J. Fellowships are funded by an endowment from members of the President’s Council. As a fitting tribute to Fr. Raynor, the donors specified that the fellowships foster excellent scholarships for graduate students. Up to three fellowships are available to doctoral students. Doctoral fellowships include stipends up to $19,000 and tuition scholarships that pay for continuous enrollment charges. Up to three fellowships are available to master’s students. Master’s fellowships are awarded as stipend supplements to departmental graduate assistantships (approximately $2,000).
