Welcome to the Office of Intercultural Engagement!

On behalf of the Office of Intercultural Engagement and the Division of Student Affairs, we warmly welcome all Marquette undergraduate and graduate students, prospective students and families, alumni, and community members.

The primary focus of the Office of Intercultural Engagement is to enhance the overall quality of the Marquette experience of underrepresented and diverse students by supporting, facilitating, and promoting academic, social, cultural, and personal success. Our two centers provide supplemental resources to support student development and growth in the areas of leadership education and training, social justice education, student advocacy, retention and mentoring programs, community outreach, and diversity celebration.

The Center for Intercultural Engagement and the LGBTQ+ Resource Center are student-centered spaces available to all Marquette community members seeking to engage in areas of diversity and student support. Through our services, we strive to develop a community of engaged citizens for and with others by working with students and student organizations to plan, promote, implement, and evaluate programs.

We are here to support and engage a community of Marquette scholars. Stop by to develop, pursue, and achieve!

We look forward to seeing you at the Center for Intercultural Engagement and the LGBTQ+ Resource Center!

Sincerely,

Eva Martinez Powless
Director of Intercultural Engagement
