Father Walter J. Stohrer, SJ, PhD, a Jesuit priest, has been with Marquette University since 1971, and as the College of Nursing chaplain since 1987. An adjunct associate professor of Philosophy, he teaches not only from experience, but from the heart. As our chaplain, Father Wally, as he is known to us, continues to serve in the Jesuit tradition of cura personalis, care for the whole person, by providing an additional spiritual resource to our students, faculty and staff.
