Residence Hall Executive Board Elections

The Residence Hall Association is looking for student leaders who are interested in supporting community development while serving as the voice for residence hall and university apartment students. RHA Executive Board positions chair program and standing committees, serve on various advisory boards, and have the option of attending residence life leadership conferences.

In order to run for a position, please fill out the candidate registration form on page 6 of the Spring 2012 RHA Elections Packet.

Positions Available for 2012-2013

President - elected by all eligible residential students

Executive Vice President - elected by all eligible residential students

Vice President of Administration - elected by RHA General Body

Vice President of Finance - elected by RHA General Body

National Communications Coordinator - elected by RHA General Body

Vice President of Legislation - elected by RHA General Body

Vice President of Campus Relations - elected by RHA General Body

Elections Timeline

President and Executive Vice President

Candidate registration forms are due Friday, March 9, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. to the RHA Student Suite, Carpenter Tower, Room 119.

The President and Vice President will be elected by the residents of the halls and university owned apartments online in conjunction with the MUSG Spring Elections. The primary election will be held on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 and the final election will take place on Wednesday, March 28, 2012.

National Communications Coordinator, Vice Presidents of Administration, Finance, Campus Relations, and Legislation

Candidate registration forms are due Friday, March 23, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. to the RHA Office Suite, Carpenter Tower, Room 119.

The National Communications Coordinator and Vice Presidents of Administration, Finance, Campus Relations, and Legislation will be elected by the RHA General Body on Monday, March 26, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. in the RHA Student Suite located on the first floor of Carpenter Tower.
