Why I work in Intercultural Engagement
: My dedication to diversity awareness and social justice education is a driving force in many of my personal and professional endeavors. Learning about these concepts helped me better understand who I am as a first-generation Haitian-American from the inner city of Brooklyn, New York, and helped me continue to understand the identities and experiences of others in the communities to which I belong. Working in Intercultural Engagement allows me to work with a variety of students and colleagues to develop opportunities for students to learn more about themselves and others and to promote an inclusive campus environment, especially for students who may not always feel supported or included.

Goals for the year
: I want students to learn more about the new programs and services sponsored by Intercultural Engagement. I also plan to continue reaching out to more students to learn more about how Intercultural Engagement can continue being effective as a campus resource to support their educational experiences and promote inclusivity on campus.
