One of the new members of the Political Science Department, Amber Wichowsky (ABD, UW-Madison), has been offered a prestigious postdoctoral fellowship from the Center for the Study of American Politics at Yale University. She will spend the 2010-11 academic year at Yale and join the department in the fall of 2011. Her research interests include state and local government use of federal funds, competition and electoral accountability in the United States, and American mass attitudes and ideology.
