Declaring a Major in Political Science

If you would like to declare a major in Political Science, the first step is to stop by the Department office in room 468 William Wehr Physics Hall. Our administrative assistant or office staff will then give you copies of all the forms you will need and put you in contact with our director of undergraduate studies, Dr. Michael Fleet, so that you can schedule a meeting with him.

Once you have completed the forms, you will need to schedule an appointment to see Dr. Fleet. (If you already have the forms and would like to schedule an appointment, you may contact him at 414-288-1799 or michael.fleet@marquette.edu).

Dr. Fleet will explain the major requirements, ask you about your interests, assign the most appropriate faculty advisor, and answer any questions you may have. This meeting will not last more than 30 minutes.

We look forward to having you as part of our program!
