The Office of University Apartments and Off-campus Student Services offers seminars to students who are thinking about moving out of the residence halls and into Marquette's off-campus neighborhood. They are designed to inform students about issues they may face as renters and help them be smarter consumers.
Apartment Hunting 101
This seminar is offered in the fall at all sophomore residence halls. It teaches students what to look for in off-campus housing and how to go about finding a place to live, as well as gives them the opportunity to ask questions.
Representatives from the University Apartments office will be presenting the Apartment Hunting 101 seminar during Family Weekend. The seminar will take place on Saturday, October 1st, at 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 2p.m. in the Alumni Memorial Union, Ballroom E. Open house tours of the apartments will follow the presentations.
