IGNATIAN MOMENT
Prayer to begin a new semester
Lord, as we prepare for the coming of a new semester, make us ready, attentive and available to hear you.
TALK WITH YOUR STUDENT
As your student prepares for the fall semester, encourage them to start looking ahead
to some of the highlights of the year. Families are invited back to campus for Family
Weekend, Sept. 25–27, with event details available online. Ticket sales open in early September.
If your student is new to Marquette and moving in on Wednesday, Aug. 26, make plans
to attend the Family Liturgy and New Student Convocation, two meaningful events that
mark the beginning of the Marquette experience. Additional information for families
is available on the New Student Orientation website.

Immediately impact students’ lives and support the breadth of everything that goes into making the Marquette experience.
The unrestricted Marquette Fund allows the university to be nimble and ensures the
strongest Marquette today and into the future. Scholars Funds provide scholarship
support to students today.
