New Student, Transfer Student and Family Orientation

Orientation written in gold

Welcome to Marquette University!

SAVE THE DATE: New Student Orientation 2020 will be August 24 - 25!

New Student Orientation is an exciting event for the Marquette community. New Student Orientation includes two days of activities designed to introduce all new students (first-year and transfer) to our academic excellence, vibrant campus life and community involvement that constitute the Marquette tradition. There are several events that first-year and transfer students are required to attend, and a variety of events that are optional. Students living on campus will move into their residence halls between August 22 - August 24.

We’re preparing to accommodate your personal choices by providing Orientation virtually, with the opportunity to opt-in to an in-person meeting on Tuesday, August 25 (called "Green Space Get Together"). Your Orientation experience will be based on your response to the Orientation Survey (sent via Marquette email) due Friday, August 14.

New Student Convocation (Monday, August 24) will be the only program for families and will streamed virtually. Families are encouraged to assist their students with the move-in process and then can return home.

Read the Orientation Email sent to new students (on August 7, 2020).
