Records of "a group of religious sisters united to study and to speak out on issues related to human rights and social justice," including general correspondence, subject files, publications, and minutes and memoranda of meetings. Especially well documented is the group's views on abortion. Their opposition to the Hatch Amendment, publicized on the Phil Donahue Show, engendered many letters pro and con (Series 2)
