Ability to Begin a Task Requires detailed instructions to complete a task. Needs some guidance to start a task or project Needs very little guidance to start a task or project.
Ability to Complete a Task Has trouble completing even the minimum required tasks Completes required work, occasionally seeks information from outside sources to enhance both classroom learning and quality of submitted assignments Goes beyond what is required in completing an assignment and brings information from outside sources into assignments.
Use of Reference Materials Cannot use materials outside of what is explained in class May exhibit difficulty transferring materials and/or concepts from one format to another (different nomenclature). Is able to understand, interpret, and apply learned materials and concepts in a format different from that taught in class
