I was born in Valladolid, Spain, where I did my undergraduate degree. I moved to Milwaukee to attend Marquette University, where I finished my M.A. in Spanish Literature in 1994. I was hired by the Foreign Language Department in the Fall of 1994, and since I have taught mainly intermediate Spanish classes, as well as Grammar and Composition, and Conversation classes.

When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, walking with our dogs, quilting, doing pottery, painting, cooking, baking and gardening.
