History: Founded in France, 1650, the Sisters of St. Joseph made their foundation in Kansas, 1883. The sisters from Concordia taught at St. Stephen Mission School (Arapaho, Shoshoni), St. Stephens, Wind River Reservation, Wyoming, 1891-1892.
