History: The St. Michael’s College Library serves as the archival repository for the Society of St. Edmund. It was founded in France, 1843, and made its first U.S. foundation in Vermont, 1891. The Society of St. Edmund administered St. Labre Mission (Cheyenne), Ashland, Montana, 1914-1925.
