History: The Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary self-identify with the post-nominal initials, “S.N.J.M.” They established their California Province, 1868, and staffed St. Michael School (Grand Ronde), Grand Ronde, Grand Ronde Reservation, Polk and Yamhill counties, Oregon, ca. 1874-1968 (closed).
