Holdings of Catholic records about Native Americans in the United States: Unknown. However, in The Jesuit Relations and Allied Documents: Travels and Explorations of the Jesuit Missionaries in New France, 1610-1791, Reuben Gold Twaites regarded the French National Archives as one of three notable French sources for the 17th and 18th centuries.
