History: St. Alphonsus Church, Langdon, Cavalier County, North Dakota, has been a predominantly non-Native American parish in the Diocese of Fargo (Archives: Fargo, North Dakota). Fargo diocesan priests have administered St. Alphonsus, which has incorporated the former Sacred Heart Church, Olga, Cavalier County, North Dakota, that had some Native American (Ojibwa, Métis) parishioners, 1920s-present.
