History: The Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument, Mountainair, Torrance County, New Mexico, preserves and interprets three historic mission sites in Torrance and Socorro Counties -- San Gregorio de Abó, Nuestra Señora de la Purísima Concepción de Quarai, and San Buenaventura de las Gran Quivira.

1620s-1678 (closed)	Franciscans (Santo Evangelico Province) (Archives: Puebla, Mexico) established and administered San Gregorio de Abó Mission (Piro, Tiwa), Abó
1620s-1670s (closed)	Franciscans established and administered San Buenaventura de las Gran Quivira Mission (Piro, Tiwa), Gran Quivira
1628-1677 (closed)	Franciscans established and administered Nuestra Señora de la Purísima Concepción de Quarai Mission (Piro, Tiwa), until abandoned for Tajique
1680	Survivors of the Pueblo revolt at San Gregorio, Nuestra Señora de Purísima Concepción, and San Buenaventura settled the vicinity of El Paso del Norte, Texas
