History: Ss. Peter and Paul Church has been a predominantly non-Native American parish administered by Sioux Falls diocesan priests who had attended the following stations among the Santee and Sisseton-Wahpeton Dakota Indians:

1884-1885

Crow Creek Reservation station

ca. 1891-1956 (transferred to Benedictines, Blue Cloud Abbey, Marvin, South Dakota)

Pierre Government Indian School, Pierre
