History: St. Raymond of Peñaford Church, Fall Creek, Eau Claire County, Wisconsin, has been a predominantly non-Native American parish in the Diocese of La Crosse (Archives: La Crosse, Wisconsin). The parish was established through the union of three rural parishes, 1998. One of the antecedent parishes, St. Anthony de Padua, Augusta, and St. Raymond’s have had had a few Winnebago [Ho Chunk] Indian parishioners.
