Undergraduate Studies

Welcome

If you are a prospective Marquette student ...

If you are a student in the College of Education ...

If you are simply interested in hearing about what the College of Education can offer YOU ...

We are committed to preparing teachers and educational specialists who uphold the Jesuit traditions of cura personalis — care for the whole person — social justice, academic excellence, ethical behavior and service to the urban community.

The college offers two licensure programs:

Both programs are overseen by Wisconsin's Department of Public Instruction. Our third major, Educational Studies, is designed for students who are interested in education but not the traditional classroom teaching experience. Brand new for the 2017-2018 academic year, students can now declare Educational Studies as their primary major.

While a student in the College of Education, roughly 30% of our undergraduates study abroad at some point in their academic career. Most recently, seven students traveled to Peru for our first faculty-led experience, Education in the Americas. Interested in learning more?
