Parking is $3 for the entire weekend in the 16th Street Parking Structure, located between Wisconsin Avenue and Wells Street, and the Wells Street Parking Structure, located between 12th and 13th streets.

Miles for Meals 10th Annual Run/Walk

5 p.m. Run/Walk begins

"Miles for Meals" is a "fun run" that serves as the primary fundraiser for the Midnight Run Program. Midnight Run is a student initiative which has served the needs of the hungry and homeless in the community near Marquette since 1988. All of the money raised will go directly toward the purchase of food used in Midnight Run's Noon Run lunch program. Each year student volunteers work to raise the $6000 budget that funds the Midnight Run program. The "Miles for Meals" Run/Walk is a fun way to help raise these funds. The "Miles for Meals" Run/Walk takes place on campus along what is known as the "Marquette Mile". Register online.

Tours

Dessert Tour of the Historic Third Ward

1:30 to 4:00 p.m.
A delicious and educational 2.5 hour walking food tour of Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward - join us and discover true ethnic treasures in this lively neighborhood! The Third Ward is now home to numerous art galleries, boutiques, restaurants, the Broadway Theatre Center, and the Milwaukee Public Market. You'll also learn about the history and architecture of the Third Ward while sampling desserts from 5 restaurants and your local guide will point out hidden entertainment spots and restaurants along the way. $40 per person, includes bus transportation to and from campus and desserts.

Theatre Performance: "Little Shop of Horrors" sold out

Helfaer Theatre
The Theatre Arts Program heads down to Skid Row for an out of this world-musical experience! Little Shop of Horrors follows Seymour, a lowly employee at a flower shop, and his discovery of a strange plant that brings him instant fame and overnight success. But the cost of fame proves too expensive when Seymour realizes that his botanical meal ticket craves something other than water. Charming, tuneful and hilarious, this affectionate spoof of 1950s sci-fi movies will have you screaming with laughter. $18 per person; $9 student (Student I.D. must be shown upon admittance); $9 child (ages 4 – 21).

Learn about the many services available for your student at the Marquette Counseling Center from Lynn O’Brien, Staff Counselor and Coordinator of Sexual Violence Prevention and Treatment Services. Counseling Center staff are continuously involved in the development of programs aimed at risk reduction and prevention of sexual violence on campus. Current efforts in this regard will be reviewed.
