Family Weekend is a wonderful opportunity to connect with your student, gather with your Marquette family, and celebrate all that makes the Marquette experience unlike any other. Click the tabs above to explore the programs and activities that Family Weekend 2012 has to offer Marquette families and students.
Family Weekend registration is now closed. Families can stop by the Family Weekend registration table in the Alumni Memorial Union starting at 1 p.m. on Friday to sign up for open events.

Parking is $3 for the entire weekend in the 16th Street Parking Structure, located between Wisconsin Avenue and Wells Street, and the Wells Street Parking Structure, located between 12th and 13th streets.

Dessert Tour of the Historic Third Ward

A delicious and educational 2.5 hour walking dessert tour of Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward guided by Milwaukee Food Tours. Join us and discover true ethnic treasures in this lively neighborhood! The Third Ward is now home to numerous art galleries, boutiques, restaurants, the Broadway Theatre Center, and the Milwaukee Public Market. You'll also learn about the history and architecture of the Third Ward while sampling desserts from 5 eateries and your local guide will point out hidden entertainment spots and restaurants along the way. $40 per person, includes bus transportation to and from campus, desserts, and gratuities.

Helfaer Theatre
A shy Englishman, Charlie, just wants to be left alone. The locals are intrigued when “Froggy” LaSueur brings him to a rural Georgia fishing lodge under the pretense that Charlie speaks no English. Charlie’s plan to remain the silent observer gets out of control in Larry Shue’s hysterical comedy The Foreigner. Originally premiering in Milwaukee, the wit and tongue-in-cheek fun take the audience on a wild adventure as Charlie learns about himself and finds friends in the most unlikely places. $18 per person;

What Jesuit values are your sons and daughters learning and living at Marquette? Rev. Douglas Leonhardt, S.J., associate vice president for mission and ministry, will lead this morning retreat for parents. It will be a time to learn, reflect and understand how Marquette’s core values relate to the Jesuit tradition. All faith traditions are welcome. $5 per person. Space is limited.

Influenza vaccinations (injectable) will be available to students and their family members. Flu shots, administered by Student Health Service, will cost $20 and can be paid for with cash, check, credit card, or MU cash. No pre-registration for the flu shot is necessary.
