About the Faculty Activities Database (FAD)

Marquette is committed to high quality and fair decision-making based on accurate information and also effective and efficient administrative practices. Additionally, Marquette is eager to promote the many accomplishments and expertise of its faculty. Marquette's Faculty Activities Database (FAD) is a means to achieve these goals.

A primary purpose of the FAD is to acquire and maintain accurate information about faculty's professional achievements and experiences to be used in activities including accreditation, identifying opportunities for scholarly collaboration, recruiting graduate and undergraduate students, and creating periodic reports of faculty scholarly work.

Additionally, use of the FAD will reduce the number of requests that faculty members, departments and colleges receive regarding the same data about their professional activities as well as the accuracy and consistency of the information that is reported.
