Qualtrics, Marquette's online survey provider, is ending its proxy link service on Friday, Oct. 30, 2026. This is a change from Qualtrics — and not from Marquette University.

Qualtrics used its proxy link service to modify web addresses to start with proxy.qualtrics.com. After Oct. 30, these proxy.qualtrics.com links won't work.

What must be done?

Students, faculty and staff:
If you own, edit or reuse Qualtrics surveys, check them for links beginning with https://proxy.qualtrics.com before Oct. 30. Also, when copying a past survey into a new survey, be sure to check for these proxy links.

Where do I look for proxy.qualtrics.com links?

Qualtrics Support recommends checking:

• Reusable email templates saved in your Qualtrics message library
• Invitation and reminder emails in survey distributions
• Workflows, triggers and email tasks in Qualtrics

If you copied and applied a proxy link outside of Qualtrics, these Qualtrics proxy links may also appear on:

• Webpages
• Shared documents
• QR codes

Qualtrics embedded the actual destination URL within the proxy link. If you have the Qualtrics proxy link, you can recover the destination URL you need using this form.

Copy the fixed destination URL. Open the fixed link and confirm that it opens the correct webpage. If the link is accurate, use the fixed destination URL to replace the affected proxy link wherever it appears.
