Food Recovery Network

40% of food waste ends up in the landfills while 1 in 6 Americans are food insecure.

Are you interested in helping reduce food waste and providing hunger relief for our community?

Join the Marquette University Food Recovery Network chapter!

Our chapter recovers food from the dining halls on campus and delivers it to the Neighborhood Kitchen in Mashuda Hall, where it is repurposed into nutritious meals for the community.

Since Fall 2019 we have recovered: 13,000+ pounds of food and counting!
