Marquette Theatre presents Lee Blessing's 'Two Rooms'

November 1, 2016

MILWAUKEE — Lee Blessing's play Two Rooms will be presented by Marquette Theatre at the Evan P. & Marion Helfaer Theatre Nov. 10-20.

Two Rooms connects love to politics and the challenges of war. A civilian journalist is held hostage in a windowless cubicle in Beirut, while—overseas in America—his wife holds vigil for his return. Blessing's play remains relevant to modern life, exposing the struggles of everyday civilians in times of incredible hardship. The show will run:

  • Thursday, Nov. 10, through Saturday, Nov. 12, at 7:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, Nov. 13, at 2:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Nov. 16, through Saturday, Nov. 19, at 7:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, Nov. 20, at 2:30 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased online. Prices for the general public are $20, with discounts offered to senior citizens, Marquette students, employees and alumni. Season ticket packages are also available. For more information, call the Theatre Box Office at (414) 288-7504.
