**Photo/Video Opportunities** National Marquette Day kick-off event is Friday at 6 p.m.

What: On Friday evening, Marquette will kick-off National Marquette Day with President Michael R. Lovell and Head Basketball Coaches Steve Wojciechowski and Carolyn Kieger with a pep rally and fireworks event. The rally will include mac 'n' cheese, a s'mores roast, hot chocolate and more. On National Marquette Day, Saturday, Feb. 18, alumni will gather in Milwaukee and around the world at more 60 sites representing 27 states and multiple international locations including Paris and Haiti to celebrate Marquette and cheer on the team as they take on Xavier.

After the fireworks, former Marquette men's basketball players are returning to Marquette to take to the court one more time in celebration of the 100th anniversary of Marquette men's basketball.

When: Friday, Feb. 17 — 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Where: Al McGuire Center — Parking Lot F, located across 12th Street between Wisconsin and Wells streets.
