Becky Frankiewicz will speak as part of newly named June and Herman Loebl Women Business Leaders Speaker Series

MILWAUKEE — Marquette University’s College of Business Administration will present Becky Frankiewicz, president of ManpowerGroup North America, Thursday, March 21, as part of its newly named June and Herman Loebl Women Business Leaders Speaker Series. She will present “Tomorrow's Talent is Here Today: Seizing Opportunity in the Digital Age,” at 4:30 p.m. in the Alumni Memorial Union Monaghan Ballroom, 1442 W. Wisconsin Ave., Milwaukee.

More information and registration for this free, public event are available online.

“As technology rapidly transforms industries and in-demand skills across the U.S., success in the future won’t be defined by performance, but by potential,” Frankiewicz said. “Most young people will do jobs that don’t even exist yet and the ability to learn, apply and adapt throughout their working life will be key to sustainable and meaningful employment. I’m delighted to meet with current and future leaders of the Marquette community to share our insight on how to upskill and reskill for in-demand jobs today and tomorrow. The future looks bright — and it’s our role as employers to help the workforce prepare for a world of work that is more digital and fast paced than ever before.”

The speaker series was recently named in honor of June and Herman Loebl, thanks to a generous gift of $1 million to advance women in leadership within the College of Business Administration.
